Christmas Visitors from Holy Family

On Thursday the 20th of December Newington Day Centre had special Christmas visitors in from Holy Family Nursery and Holy Family Primary School.

The pupils from Holy Family Nursery sang Christmas songs to our members and those from the Primary School had a collection of musical performances from singing and playing instruments.

Lovely to see the school kids getting into the Christmas spirit, hope Santa is good to them!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at Newington Day Centre. See you in 2019!

Fortwillam Golf Club Fundraiser a Success

Fortwilliam Golf Club held a quiz night in aid of Newington Day Centre to raise some vital running cost funds for our centre.

Their men's and ladies captains presented our Manager Margaret McCrudden with a cheque of the money raised.

We would like to thank all those involved especially their Ladies Captain Patricia McBride for choosing us as her charity this year. And also extend our thanks to the wider community, we wouldn't be celebrating 40 years of care in the community without your continued support!
